A list of 250 irregular marriages of people from Canonbie parish who were rebuked by the Kirk Session between 1708 and 1855. These marriages were legal but did not meet with approval from the church. Most of these marriages do not appear in the Old Parish Registers (OPRs). They have been indexed by both male surname and female surname. Page references to Kirk Session minutes are given.
